Ginger, Ready for Her Close Up
On this most meaningful of holidays (to me, anyway - thankfulness is a pretty important concept to remember in our insane consumerist culture), I am thankful for my wonderful dog, Ginger, who is now starring in her very own video on You Tube.
BTW, I’m sorry I don’t know how to put the image link right up on this site to click on here and now - I’ve GOT to meet up with my webby guy in 2008 sometime to get a primer on all the things I still need to learn how to do here. Anyway, hope you’ll enjoy Ginger in her film debut.
I am also thankful for the wonderful BF, who took all the Ginger footage, made the film, and selected the fabulous music. I toast you, my dear.

Could Ginger be cuter? Doubtin’ it.
Hi Robert! Your pal in Maine, Rob (formerly of Guam). I’m thinking about a scholarly article down the road on some queer comics. Wanna be famous? Sort of?

Hey Robert ~ just say the word, I’m there for your scholarly article-to-be. I love that sort of thing. Hey, long time, no hear. Thx for likin’ my dog, ain’t she sweet….! Hope you are swell in beautiful Maine!

I figure that if I have to publish, have some fun along the way. I haven’t thought it thorugh yet very much, but I’m interested in the sort of endless storylines of queer comics, and Curbside is such a great strip — I’d be happy to do my part to give it a wider audience. “Wider,” of course, is a relative term in this context . . .
Beautiful Maine is, well, beautiful, and I am just swell. oddly, I miss Guam more than I thought I would.

Well, you just let me know if/when it happens and I’ll be happy to help out with your article, in whatever way I can.
I was in Maine once and I loved it - we went to some mountain or other. It was misty, quiet and magical. I hope to go back some day.
