Hey all, this Saturday and Sunday, November 1st and 2nd, I will be at the ALTERNATIVE PRESS EXPO, aka APE, with my co-editor, DAVID KELLY in beautiful San Francisco. We’ll be at table #558 (wherever that is) with all our stuff, including the brand new Book of Boy Trouble Volume 2, so if you’re in the neighborhood and like lotsa super awesome comics and tee shirts and art from cool people, please stop by and say howdy.

And then don’t forget to vote on Tuesday - let’s make SURE Barack Obama is our next Prez. He’s the the man for the job.

The Small Press Expo, aka SPX, aka the east coast alternative comics expo, just ended today, Sunday 10/5/08, and all went well. Had a real good time. The brand new second volume of the Book of Boy Trouble made it safely from the warehouse to the Expo — it was touch and go for a while there — and sold well, even in this crappy, oh so very crappy, economy. It was good to see all the wonderful BT cartoonists again, as well as several other cartoonists whose work I love. Met quite a few interesting newcomers to the scene also and in some cases tried to offer my sage advice (only when asked, I hope). I’m pretty wiped out now that it’s all over, but there’s still time for me to get my second wind for San Francisco’s Alternative Press Expo (APE) in one month, where I’ll be tabling with David Kelly. Come say hi and I promise I will be very nice and not try to talk you out of getting that copy of The Book of Boy Trouble Volume 2 that I know you’ve been wanting. Promise.
